HISTORY OF OUR COLLEGE

The college opened its doors in 2001.
The building was unadapted, a former dormitory building. Over the years, the building has been reconstructed, the entire heating and water supply system has been overhauled. In order to bring the college to the high level that the times require, it was necessary to carry out work to modernize the educational environment of the college.
Today, the college is one of the most sought-after educational institutions in the technical and vocational education market of the region, training specialists in the metallurgical, mechanical engineering, and automotive industries
In 2007, a meeting of the college directors of East Kazakhstan region colleges was held at the college, on the topic of “Modernization of the college educational environment in light of the message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, where the experience of the college was reviewed.
In 2007, ETGC took part in the competition for the prize of the regional Akim for the best college. The college took part in the Republican competition: "The best educational institution of technical and vocational education" in the specialty "Non-ferrous metallurgy"
In 2012, the college became a participant in the Kazakh-German project in the field of vocational and technical education between the crafts board of the city of Trier and vocational and technical education institutions of Kazakhstan for the development of a dual education system.
In 2012, the college became a participant in the project “Modernization of technical and vocational education” implemented within the framework of the Loan Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
