“Metallurgy in Minerals and Metals: From Raw Materials to KazZinc’s Finished Products”
The college has summarized the results of the joint project with KazZinc LLC, entitled “Metallurgy in Minerals and Metals: From Raw Materials to KazZinc’s Finished Products.”
As part of the development of practice-oriented education, work has been underway since November 2025 to create an educational exhibition dedicated to the metallurgical production processes of KazZinc.
The project involved the formation of a collection of minerals, ore raw materials, intermediate products, and finished metallurgical products. The exhibition will enable students to gain a clear understanding of the technological chain of non-ferrous metal production — from natural minerals to finished industrial products.
A special section of the collection is devoted to the profession of a metallurgist. Students can familiarize themselves with samples of modern workwear and personal protective equipment used by employees of metallurgical enterprises, as well as learn about the importance and specific features of professions in the metallurgical industry.
The exhibition being created will become an important educational resource for training future specialists, organizing career guidance activities, excursions, and open lessons. It will also contribute to promoting metallurgical professions among young people.
