Safe Work Project
Throughout the 2025–2026 academic year, the Higher Technical and Humanitarian College implemented the "Safe Work" project with the support of Kazzinc Ltd. The project was aimed at developing a strong safety culture among students and fostering a responsible attitude toward occupational health and industrial safety.
One of the project's key outcomes was the establishment of the "Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)" educational exhibition and the "Industrial Safety" information stands, which are now actively used in the educational process for technical specialties.
As part of the partnership, Kazzinc Ltd. provided the college with samples of modern protective clothing and personal protective equipment used at its production facilities. This enabled students to study real industrial safety equipment, its purpose, correct use, and operational requirements under various working conditions.
In addition, educational information stands were designed and installed, covering occupational health and safety regulations, industrial safety requirements, safe workplace organization, accident prevention, the proper use of personal protective equipment, and emergency response procedures.
An important stage of the project was the preparation of student research and practice-oriented projects under the "Safe Work" initiative. At the end of the academic year, the project presentations were held at Kazzinc Ltd., where students presented their proposals to company experts. The projects focused on improving workplace safety, strengthening the safety culture, promoting the effective use of personal protective equipment, and preventing occupational injuries. Company representatives highly appreciated the students' level of preparation, the practical value of their work, and its relevance to modern industrial requirements.
The newly created exhibition has become an important part of the college's educational facilities and is used during occupational safety classes, industrial safety training, professional modules for technical specialties, and career guidance tours for school students and college visitors.
The implementation of the project brought the educational process closer to real industrial practice, enhanced students' practical competencies, and strengthened their understanding that compliance with safety regulations is an essential part of every professional's career.
The "Safe Work" project became another successful example of effective cooperation between the Higher Technical and Humanitarian College and Kazzinc Ltd., contributing to the training of highly qualified specialists who meet modern occupational and industrial safety standards.
