Today, in the library's reading room, within the framework of the "Reading College" concept, a thematic evening was held on the theme "Shaktyg biik Shokan", attended by gr. SB 4. A book exhibition was organized.

Through the slide, the students were introduced to Shokan's childhood and adolescence, spent in the Kushmurun fortress, within the walls of the Omsk Cadet Corps, and his journey to Kashgaria, which was accompanied by difficulties and dangers. During the event, the students noted that over the 30 years of his life he had achieved in studying the culture and way of life of the Kazakh people and the countries of Central Asia. Dilnaz, Nuraly, Azamat, Temirlan, and Sanzhar students distinguished themselves in the discussion of the topic.
Purpose of the event:
To promote the development of interest in the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan on the example of the life and work of Sh.Sh. Ualikhanov.
